Secondary College Transition
The transition process for our Year 6 students begins early in the year. The local secondary colleges bring students to our school to describe the programs and facilities they have available and to answer any questions. This is followed by open evenings where parents can visit the campuses and get a feel for the environment.
In April we will distribute transition packs explaining the transition process to parents.
By mid-May the application for Year 7 enrolment form needs to be returned to primary school.
In July parents are made aware of the secondary college that their child has been accepted into.
The secondary colleges have an orientation day in December where the students get to know the geography of the college, sample some lessons and make new friends.
